The CG7 Tour Black Pearl irons feature a laser milled face and Cleveland’s hugely successful Zip groove technology and fully conform with the new R&A and USGA rule on grooves that will affect professional golfers from 2010. The laser milled face allows Cleveland to produce a clubface incorporating the optimal amount of surface roughness to enhance spin and control. The Zip grooves are the product of an advanced milling technique that allows Cleveland to produce 35% bigger grooves with pristine edges that are not compromised during the production process. The Cleveland CG7 Tour Black Pearl golf iron uses Cleveland’s 360 degree Gelback Technology to offer golfers fantastic feel and response. Gelback technology uses a one piece insert to dampen vibrations across the entire clubface. Cleveland’s Dynamic Micro-Cavity Technology provides each CG7 Tour Black Pearl with a progressively sized micro cavity to optimise the centre of gravity location in each clubhead.
